Primary Swimming Galas

Our lower school ‘deep sea adventure’ and upper school ‘fast and furious speedway’, were the sporting highlight of the term! From the youngest of swimmers to our Grade 7 leavers, all our students were given the opportunity to showcase what they had learned during the course of this year.

Unfortunately the first thunderstorm of the season interrupted our lower school gala which meant we were only able to dip into half of the ‘funtastic’ programme that we had planned. Thankfully the weather behaved itself during our upper school gala and we had a fantastic afternoon of swimming! There was a total of 9 records broken, 4 of which were smashed by a water-born individual, Benjamin Hammond.

The final results were as follows: Sable in 3rd place with 192 points Kudu in 2nd place with 283 points, and Impala in 1st pace with 309 points.
A huge well done to all swimmers for giving your best and thank you to all those that helped out on the day!
