Chengelo Sixth Form Celebrates Phenomenal BTEC Results

Following on from our recent success at IGCSE and A Level, Chengelo is once again celebrating outstanding achievement, this time, in our BTEC Agricultural Course.

BTEC Extended Diploma courses are equivalent to studying three A levels and are graded with distinction* (star), distinction, merit and pass grades. We are thrilled to announce that 75% of grades were at either Distinction* (Star) or Distinction level, which is equivalent to an A*/A grade at A Level.

Students achieving the highest possible grades of a triple Distinction* (star) were: Memory Rusunder, Chikumbutso Daka and Gabrielle Fourie – well done and congratulations!

Notable mentions also go to Daniel Breytenbach and Andrew Ross who both achieved an outstanding 1 distinction* and  2 distinctions.

I’m overjoyed! These students have a world of opportunities open to them now. The staff and students have worked extremely hard and it’s paid off. We thank God for his guiding hand as we launched this new and exciting course.
