Recruitment of Graduate Teacher Trainees for 2019
Chengelo School is offering a limited opportunity to Graduates who wish to join our one (1) year Graduate Trainee Program (GTP).
It is Chengelo’s vision to train outstanding teachers and outdoor educational instructors for work at Chengelo and at our Ndubaluba Outdoor Education Center who will be able to make an impact across Zambia and beyond.
This programme is designed for people who are recent graduates with a good degree in a subject that is taught at Chengelo School (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture Science, Geography, English, French, Business Studies, Psychology, History, Art, Design & Technology, ICT, Computer studies, Primary Education, Religious Studies, Music).
If you have energy and enthusiasm and would like to start your teaching career with an excellent year gaining experience with us then this might be for you. You will need to be:
1) Passionate about your faith as a Christian – keen to serve God within Zambia.
2) Passionate about working with young people as a teacher.
3) Passionate about your subject, committed to teaching your chosen subject to young men and women and encouraging them to find and develop their own gifts and abilities.
The successful candidates will be provided with educational theory books, a laptop to use during their training course, food, shared accommodation and a trainee monthly salary. Chengelo expects to recruit its full time future staff from those who have been trained on our GTP Program.
