After a period of significant growth, we are seeking dedicated educators to join our team to drive the school forward into its next phase.   POSITION AVAILABLE: Physical Education Teacher – Secondary The Physical Education Teacher will make the education of the pupils their first concern and will be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. They will act with honesty and integrity, have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as a teacher up-to-date and will be self-critical, forge positive professional relationships and work with parents in the best interests of the pupils.   PERSON PROFILE:

• Upholds strong Christian values and is dedicated to the vision and mission of Chengelo
• Holds a degree in Physical Education.
• Possesses a minimum of three years’ teaching experience in the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE and A-Level) or an equivalent international framework.
• Demonstrates strong coaching and instructional skills across a variety of sports and fitness activities (experience coaching netball will be advantageous).
• Has a proven track record of developing and implementing engaging PE lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
• Shows commitment to extracurricular sports programmes, including after-school clubs, inter- house competitions, and inter-school tournaments.
• Displays strong teamwork skills, fostering collaboration within the department and wider school community.

  REMUNERATION: Staff who work at Chengelo do so out of a sense of calling and are paid at good local Zambian rates.
