At Chengelo, success is not just about exam results — it’s about the kind of people our students become. We value academic achievement, but we know that knowledge alone doesn’t prepare young people for life.
Education here is about character formation. We want students to graduate as people of integrity and conviction—who love God, serve others, and lead with courage.
As a Christian school, we believe great outcomes grow from strong values. We aim to raise biblically minded individuals who live out Christ-like character and faith. Discipleship is at the heart of school life, with regular Christian programmes supporting students’ spiritual growth.
We want every child to feel known and cared for. Students join one of three Houses—smaller communities within the school—and each student is placed in a tutor group to foster connection and belonging. These structures help build lifelong friendships in a safe, supportive space.
We also value strong partnerships with parents. Open communication and parental involvement are vital to our school community.

Sport and Physical Education

Our dedicated coaches and excellent facilities help every student grow in skill, confidence, and sportsmanship.
Outdoor Adventure Education
Through our partnership with Ndubaluba Outdoor Centre, students experience challenging, faith-building adventures that develop resilience, leadership, and character. From expeditions to team-building camps, outdoor education is a core part of Chengelo’s holistic approach, shaping young people who are courageous, grounded, and equipped to serve others.
